I guess it’s no surprise that kiddies can’t quite understand that their favourite Cars character is actually voiced by a real human, and even Owen has noticed:

Owen Wilson has revealed his surprise that his Cars role hasn’t introduced him to a new army of young fans. The US actor, who lends his voice to race car Lightning McQueen in the sequel, doesn’t often get recognised by children.

“Little kids don’t believe there’s someone doing a voice for Lightning McQueen,” he said. “I have parents that are like, ‘This is Lightning McQueen’ and the kid just stares at me blankly.”

Well looks like this has been a long time coming. This site has been on the adoption list for ages and I had been tempted many times, but finally now I felt I have the time this site needs, and there is a lot of updating to get done. First the new layout is up and I hope you like it, there are a lot of small changes I still need to make but hopefully should get most of it done in one day and then the actual news updates can begin. Thanks to all those who have stuck with us and are still coming back, I promise this site will be back up to date and the best Wilson brothers resource on the web!

Owen Wilson seems to have made a good impression on recent co-star Jennifer Aniston, who has recently been praising him in interviews:

The actress tells the L.A. times that Wilson is “brave, funny and sweet” and was great to work with. “Owen Wilson is so divine in this film. I’ve never seen him play a part like this. He was a man; he was a husband; he was a father,” People quoted her, as saying.

Aniston also spoke about Wilson’s personal struggles, which included hospitalized in 2007 for an apparent suicide attempt. “I feel like, how brave of him, to walk through the year that he walked through,” she said.  Aniston praises Wilson as an amazing costar, saying, “He has no temper, no ego, he’s collaborative and funny and sweet.”

You would not believe how much work I have to do, but I am making a start on the gallery (which also needs a new layout). I am starting with Luke and we have a whole new selection of pics for you from more recent events which include the  premiere of Overture Films’ ‘Henry Poole Is Here’ held at ArcLight Cinemas August 7, 2008 in Los Angeles, California.. The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship at Kingsbarns Golf Links on October 4, 2008 in Kingbarns, Scotland and the Dodge Challenger Celebrity Drag Race at the Willow Springs Raceway on June 3, 2008 in Rosamond, California. So here is a small selection for you and the restare of course in the gallery. Oh and slight subject change, I am sorry for not replying to any e-mails but as I said there has been no owner here for around 4 months. I am currently sorting through everything and will let you know when the e-mails working again!
