Title: Innocence
Author: Chelsea
Type: Shanghai Series
Genre: Romance
Alternate universe: Roy never met Chon. Yep, you can be sure that this is NOT a slash fic (finally!). Roy meets a girl he likes but he thinks she can do better. There's always something in the way.
Note: Yes there is sexuality in the very first chapter and although I'd like to be more detailed about it (because that's how I write, descriptively) I can't, I'm friggin blushing just writing it! LoL sorry...
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the charactors from Shanghai Noon (no, not even Roy…~swoon~) I'm deffinately not makin' money from this story
Roy O'Bannon rode into town with slumped shoulders. The new guy from Texas had taken over his group of outlaws, now he was just a lone outlaw with now plan. He stopped at the saloon and walked inside. Some of the men inside greeted him with nods, and some eyed him angrily. He went up the bar and asked for a shot of whiskey. After finishing the shot and another one, he left and crossed to street to Goldie's.
Let's pay a visit to my favorite ladies, Roy thought as he walked in. Several of the girls in the parlor swooned and purred his name as he entered. He smiled and asked who'd like to accompany him to one of the rooms upstairs.
"Me, Roy, I'd love to," many of the said seductively.
Gotta love bein' an outlaw, the girls go crazy
Roy walked around the room taking in all the visions of lovliness. He noticed a girl sitting apart from the rest. In a corner of the room. She sat in a chair wearing a plain, drab dress. Her eyes were wide and she looked very out of place. She couldn't have been over sixteen years old. Roy walked over to her slowly. Their eyes met and Roy thought he detected a bit of fear in hers, but he dismissed the thought.
"I haven't seen you here before, what's your name?," Roy asked as he stood over her, leaning on the wall.
"I-I'm new, my name's Shannon," the girl said in a small voice.
"Would you like to come up stairs with me, Shannon? I'm Roy."
Shannon winced as he said this, but agreed.
Roy lead her up the stairs, he arm around her waist. Before they entered the room they would be staying in Shannon looked over to him.
"I suppose I should tell you, th-that I've never done this before. I'm a virgin, I mean. Today is my first day."
Roy looked at her for a moment, she was so innocent…he wondered why she was working in a place like this, he wondered if he should proceed with her. Finally he decided that if it wasn't him it would be someone else, maybe someone who wouldn't be as gentle as he would be, knowing that she was a virgin. He extended his left hand to the door handle and opened the door.
Shannon entered first, and then Roy. He closed the door behind him and looked to Shannon. She stood in the middle of the room looking very nervous, and not quite knowing what she should do. He walked over to her and layed her down on the bed. He lowered himself over her. He rested his hands on her shoulders, she was trembling.
"Are you afraid?"
Shannon looked ashamed as she replied,"Y-yes."
Roy felt bad for her he whispered softly,"I'll be gentle, don't be afraid."
She slowly nodded her head. Roy descended his head and claimed his lips with his. He could tell that she was not very experienced. Shannon had heard about Roy, she knew that he was an outlaw, that had made her fear worse when he had picked her. She was surprised that a rebel such as he could be so kind and gentle. His lips just barely brushed hers.
Roy had undressed her and helped her in undressing himself. He could tell that she was still scared but she seemed to be slightly more at ease. When he had peirced through her virginity she had cried out. He comforted her regretted bringing her pain.
Now he held her they lay on the bed in eachother's arms. He wasn't quite sure why he was doing this, probably because he had never been with someone as inexperienced as she was. He felt bad that she had had to loose her virginity to someone she didn't know, he felt bad because he could feel her tears on his chest, he could hear her whimpering. He stroked her hair and shushed her and she seemed to calm at his voice. He felt bad because he knew that she would have to be with men that would hurt her.
"Why do you work here?," Roy asked her in a whisper.
She tried to stop her self from crying,"M-my father forced me to."
"Why?"
"We need money."
"That's awful."
She was silent and dreading the moment he would tell her that he was going to leave. For her that brought some strange comfort. Of course, as she thought this he spoke the words.
"I have to go."
"Alright."
They both got up and redressed, Roy left the room without a word.
